Founded in March 1957 as the College of Letters, University of Saigon, we are proud to be one of the first professional higher education institutions in the south of Vietnam.
In 2017, VNUHCM-USSH celebrated its 60th Anniversary of Foundation and Development with great pride of a long and distinguished tradition.

Name: Center for Career Orientation and Human Resource Development
General information: Center for Career Orientation and Human Resource Development, formerly known as Career and Business Relations Consulting Center, was established under Decision No. 29 / QD-TCHC, dated February 23, 2009 of the President of the University of Social Sciences & Humanities. During the operation, in order to match the development trend and new tasks of training, retraining, career counseling and student support, with the consent of the University, the Center has changed. the name of Center for Career Advice and Business Relations became Center for Career Orientation and Human Resource Development under Decision No. 59 / QD-TCHC, dated March 27, 2009.
Vision:
The strategic goal, vision to 2030, is “To build the Center for Career Orientation and Human Resource Development into a reputable and developed unit in the field of consulting, career guidance, providing qualified and high quality human resources for the society, domestic and international; building a contingent of highly qualified, professional, capable of scientific research; ensure modern facilities and equipment to serve all activities of the unit; professionally accredited skills training programs; have high competitiveness and adapt to the market mechanism in the context of global integration ”.
