Tra Vinh University was formed and developed from Tra Vinh Community College. After 5 years of successful implementation of the Vietnam - Canada Community College Project, co-sponsored by the Government of Canada and the Government of Vietnam, together with the urgent need for education and training development of the province as well as the demand for human resources to implement the economic, cultural and social development strategy of the Mekong Delta region and the whole country, Tra Vinh University was officially established under Decision No. 141 / QD / 2006-TTg June 19, 2006 by the Prime Minister and became one of the public universities in the Vietnamese higher education system.
The Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST, here in after referred to as the Hanoi University of Technology) was established under the Decision No. 147 / ND of March 6, 1956 of the Minister of Education and Training.
Since establishment of university, HUST has been committed to research, knowledge development and intellectual training for the society. The university gains the reputation of being the first and the leading technical university in Vietnam thanks to generations of influential alumni.
General Information: The toponymies explain Thu Dau Mot is a pairing phrase: Thu Dau, Mot. Thu-as the sound of Han-Vietnamese means keeping, controlling, which talked about a military post guards a land, also could talk about a top location, the capital of an administrative unit; Dau is the name of a typical herb of the land. Mot is a big (only) ricinus, grows up over the land, next to the military post.
General Information: IUV formerly as a training institution among 7 campuses of IUH, after 6 years of education and building university infrastructure, lecturer staff members, brand name … on 12th Jun 2013, Prime Minister already signed the Decision no. 920/QD-TTg that issued the establishment of IUV. This result was obtained from the hard effort and great determination of investors, the support of Government, Ministry of Education and Training, governmental departments and agencies as well as the hard work and dedication of the university’s lecturers and staff members. Until now, after 7 year of operation, IUV has been continuously grown, worthy as the reputable university, partly contributing to the education that supplies the high-quality human resources for Nghe An province and the Middle region.
General Information: Tay Nguyen University (TNU) was founded on November 11, 1977 under the Vietnamese Government's decision No.298/CP. It is located in Buon Ma Thuot City, Daklak province. As a multi-disciplinary university, TNU is now playing an important role in training skilled labor force for the socio-economic development of the Central Highlands
General Information: NTU formerly known as the University of Fisheries, is established in 1959 and located in Nha Trang City. NTU now is prestigious multi-disciplinary and multi-level institution with a strong foundation of fisheries and marine economy.
Mission: To train highly qualified manpower, carry out research and technology transfer, and provide services in various areas to meet the demand of socio-economic development, with fisheries as the major strength.
